Will our documents be used to train public models?

No. Copilots run on your private Azure OpenAI instance and search index. Your content is never exposed to public model training.

How does the Copilot respect existing permissions?

Every retrieved passage is filtered against the user's Entra ID groups before the model sees it. If a user can't open a document today, the Copilot can't quote it.

How do you reduce hallucinations?

Hybrid retrieval and cross-encoder re-ranking put the most relevant passages in front of the model, answers cite their sources, and evaluation pipelines score faithfulness and context relevance before each release.

Can it read complex tables and spreadsheets?
